Can Holes Be Drilled In Acrylic?
Drilling holes is a little tricky. Holes can be drilled but you need a specialized drill bed and technique. We supply acrylic drill beds and would be happy to advise how to drill the holes. Otherwise, the acrylic will crack if not done properly.
Does Acrylic Break?
Acrylic can break under certain circumstances. The thicker the acrylic the harder it is to shatter. At thicknesses of 1” ¼ and above acrylic is ballistic resistant.
How Do I Maintain My Acrylic?
There are special acrylic cleaners that are available and we supply. Do not use Windex or any other household cleaner that isn’t specifically made for plastics.

Do You Cut Plastic To Size?
We can cut to any size and any shape using the latest technologies such as lasers, and CNC. We also can hand-cut for more delicate jobs
Can I Cut The Plastic Myself?
If you have the right type of tools, yes it can be cut. Cutting acrylic takes special blades that we supply. Woodworking tools will not work and may damage the material.
Can Acrylic Be Heat Bent?
Acrylic can be formed with specific heat settings for different requirements. It is not advised to do this on your own unless you have experience and the proper equipment. The chances of fire are high without the proper equipment and experience.
Does Acrylic Scratch?
Yes, acrylic is easily scratchable. It is not recommended for tabletops or surfaces that are frequently abrased.
Can Acrylic Be Put Outdoors?
Acrylic lasts for many years before needing to be replaced if properly maintained. However, over time UV will affect the acrylic.
